Biography
Hamill was once born and raised in Oakland, California because the son of Virginia Suzanne and William Thomas Hamill, who used to be a captain in the U.S. Navy. He used to be one of seven children: two brothers, Will and Patrick, and 4 sisters, Terry, Jan, Jeanie, and Kim. As a kid, his father's career intended a number of relocations, as he moves from school to college when he was a kid. In his basic years, he went to Poe Middle School, then for 10th grade, he attended Annandale High School located in Annandale, Virginia, but ultimately ended up graduating from Nile C. Kinnick High School situated in Yokosuka, Japan. He majored in drama at Los Angeles City College.

Hamill was one of the most two original voice actors to whom author Jhonen Vasquez offered the voice Zim (the opposite being Billy West).
